State House Counsel
The Office of the State House Counsel is the legal arm of the Presidential Villa. It is operationally under the Office of the Chief of Staff to the president of the Federal republic of Nigeria and acts administratively through the Office of the permanent Secretary, State House.
VISION OF THE OSHC
To be a World –class Presidential Legal Resource.
To render apposite and timely legal input to the President and the State House (use law for social engineering) thereby contributing to the achievements of National goals.
- GOALS/TARGET OF OSHC
- To reduce considerably the time spent in rendering legal advice/input to the C-in-C, Permanent Secretary and other stakeholders.
- To make resources particularly, the Laws of the federation of Nigeria (LFN), 2004 with amendments on intranet to its stakeholders, most especially, Office of the C-in-C, Vice President, Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff, Permanent Secretary and Council Chambers.
- Upgrade its facilities in order to live up to the dynamic expectation of its stakeholders in accordance with best practices.
